Sacred Dance Ceremony
Sacred Dance is a conscious dance, similar to ecstatic dance, but we acknowledge the sacred nature of the dance process by holding the dance as a ceremony. This involves consciously opening and closing sacred space, dancing with intention and an altar, and invitations to engage with ritual and group sharing circles. Allowing our bodies to dance their dance is a way of remembering who we are at our core. We can connect to our soul, remember what is important, and experience our essential nature.
During a sacred dance ceremony I will gently guide you into intuitive movement and an exploration of yourself through dance by using verbal prompts and carefully selected music. This is not the sort of dance you find in clubs and nor is it instructed dance moves. Instead it involves finding ways to get out of your mind so that the body can take over and move how it wants to move. There is a huge amount of wisdom held in our body which can bring great insights to consciousness if we can let go of judgements, stories and expectations enough to trust in our body’s expression of it’s own rhythm and flow.
Often we can enter altered states of consciousness through dancing in this way, and experience states of being which can feel profound. Dancing together in this way is an ancient practice across many cultures, and so when we gather to dance it can often feel like a home coming or remembering of something we have always known deeply in our bones. Authenticity is inherent in this form of self-expression and being witnessed by others in your own movement adds another layer of power to the experience.

Rewild Your Soul is an intimate small-group series of Sacred Dance Ceremonies for women, consisting of three 4-hour ceremonies.
Ceremony can take many forms, but at its essence, it is a way of facilitating us to ‘remember to remember’ who we really are, and what truly matters. Our ancestors understood this deeply, weaving ceremony into daily life as a tool to stay rooted in meaning and conscious presence.
In a world that spins ever faster, where distraction often drowns out depth, I feel a growing longing — and need — to return to what is essential. Yet so often, the rituals that once tethered us to the sacred have fallen away. This longing is what called me to gather others in the ancient practice of ceremony. In ceremony, we aim to reclaim aspects of our own wild nature, or experiencing ourselves as nature. We will plant seeds to shift from the transactional way of relating we have so often been conditioned to inhabit, towards relationships which embody sacred reciprocity.
Our ancestors turned to the natural world for wisdom, listening to the quiet teachings of earth, water, wind, and fire. From that same wellspring of inspiration, each Rewild Your Soul ceremony draws from a truth revealed by nature’s way:
Nature unfurls herself unapologetically, revealing herself exactly as she is — without judgment, control, or self-surveillance.
Life is cyclical: birth, growth, decay, death, and rebirth — the great turning that touches all things.
We are not separate, but part of an intricate web — always in relationship, always in co-creation.
Each of the Rewild Your Soul ceremonies will explore one of these teachings inspired by nature, using outdoor conscious dance with an invitation to be barefoot and music via headphones to aid immersion, ritual with a fire-altar, meditation, nature connection and sharing circles. These practices, simple yet profound, have been powerful guides for me in returning to inner wisdom. The ceremony takes place mostly outdoors, so we are close to nature’s lessons and can explore further through our environment.
All women are warmly invited to join a single ceremony, or journey through all three. Group sizes are kept small — just ten people — to nourish a sense of safety, intimacy, and depth. No experience is needed — only a curiosity to step inward and reawaken your belonging.

Ceremony 1 - Authentic Unfurling
23rd August, 14:00-18:00
“Authentic Unfurling” is inspired by the unconditional love that nature embodies in her relationship to herself. Nature unfurls herself just as she is, and there is deep authenticity in this which we can learn from. She does not try to control, judge, fight or inhibit herself in an attempt to be different from how she emerges naturally. In this sense she allows herself to be wild.
Ceremony 2 - Embodying the Triskele
Date TBC
The “Triskele” is an ancient Celtic symbol of three interlocking spirals. It symbolises the constant cycles of birth, death and rebirth that are inherent to all of nature, at all times, on all scales. It symbolises the deep truth that life is impermanent, that everything is always simultaneously dissolving and being created, and all we ever have is the present moment.
Ceremony 3 - Interconnection
Date TBC
In “Interconnection”, we look to nature to bring another lens on what it means to be wild. Nothing in nature stands in isolation, everything is interconnected. We are in relationship with, and have an impact on, everything that surrounds us and vice versa. In modern times we have lost touch with this wisdom, instead living with the illusion that we are separate and independent, rather than interdependent. Many of us have been conditioned to treat nature, ourselves and each other as commodities rather than as sacred beings who we rely on for our own existence. Before technology and by living closer to the Earth, our ancestors were more in touch with interconnectedness and honoured all living beings as sacred.
