Inner Rewilding 2 - Embodying the Triskele

  • The Urban Yurt, EH17 8BD Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom (map)

This workshop is the second of the Rewilding workshop series.

The “Triskele” (pattern in the image for this event) is an ancient Celtic symbol of three interlocking spirals. It symbolises the constant cycles of birth, death and rebirth that are inherent to all of nature, at all times, on all scales. It symbolises the deep truth that life is impermanent, that everything is always simultaneously dissolving and being created, and all we ever have is the present moment.

In Embodying the Triskele, we will use exercises and dance to explore our own relationship to impermanence, looking at where we might be stagnating the flow of life through us by clinging to aspects of our experience that want to die, or by blocking the emergence of our creator spirit. By embracing our own impermanence, we learn to trust more in the flow of life, thereby connecting with another aspect of our wild nature.
